Yes, The Marriage Certificate is a legal document issued by The Greek Government and accepted internationally.

Where can we have our wedding reception?
Corfu island has unique wedding reception venues. Depending on the number of guests we will propose several venues to choose from.

When do we receive our photos?
Photos will be forwarded by post to the couple's home address two weeks after the wedding.

We don't have two witnesses for the ceremony?
We will provide the witnesses.

Are there cancellation charges?
There is an automatic loss of deposit and refunds are not provided once the balance has been paid 6 weeks before arrival in Corfu.

Do we take back any documents submitted to the Municipal?
No, all documentation is kept on file by the Municipal

When do we receive our wedding certificate?
The official certificate is issued within 3 working days after the wedding and then forwarded to the married couple's home address by the wedding coordinator
*NOTE: If you are from a country OTHER than the U.K, it may be necessary for you to have your papers stamped in various ministries in your own country. Each country has different regulations and different departments dealing with these matters

How long do we have to be on the island before we can have a civil wedding?
At least nine (9) days. Othewise you must have a letter stamped by a notary public solicitor allowing an office representative to act and sign on your behalf. Then being on the island 6 days before will suffice.

Can I choose a Bouquet?
Feel free to forward a photo of the shape and size of the bouquet you would prefer. Also you can choose the colour. The florist creates bouquets using season flowers and the type of flowers the florist uses are left to his/ her discretion. click here to view sample bouquets
